The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo returns to NRG Park February 28 through March 19, 2023.
The main attraction at the Livestock Show and Rodeo is the rodeo, of course! The RODEOHOUSTON Super Series is a 20-day tournament-style competition with bareback riding, bull riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, and women’s barrel racing and breakaway roping events. The rodeo is held at NRG Stadium.
Each evening, after the rodeo competitions are done, the stadium becomes a live music venue, with concerts by national headliners. 2023 performers include Jason Aldean, New Kids on the Block, Jon Pardi, Ashley McBryde, The Chainsmokers, Turnpike Troubadours, La Fiera De Ojinaga, Machine Gun Kelly, Kenny Chesney, Chris Stapleton, Brad Paisley, and Luke Bryan.
NRG Arena is where the horse show, livestock show, and other events are held.
The Hideout presented by Jim Beam is the rodeo’s popular dance hall with nightly live music. You’ll find The Hideout in the white tent on the west side of NRG Arena.
Visitors can also enjoy the carnival midway at NRG Park, where you’ll find rides and food vendors.
There are two ticket options for the event. Grounds Admission gets access to everything going on at NRG Park, NRG Arena, and NRG Center, including the horse shows, carnival and other activities but does not include admission to NRG Stadium rodeo and concert events. Rodeo/Concert Tickets get you access to the rodeo and concert events at NRG Stadium, plus access to everything else included with grounds access.
