Bristol Renaissance Faire
The Bristol Renaissance Faire in Kenosha, Wisconsin features 16th Century-themed fun, food, music, and games spread over nine summer weekends from early July through Labor Day.
The Bristol Faire’s variety of food, entertainment, games, and shopping has earned them “Best Renaissance Faire” honors from the subscribers of Renaissance Magazine several years in a row.
Sixteen stages provide non-stop entertainment in the form of music, comedy, stunts, and more.
The Faire’s Marketplace features goods sold by nearly 200 vendors. This is where you’ll find everything from soaps to swords!
Those who enjoy donning costumes and getting into the spirit of things, with appreciate the festival’s specially themed weekends which encourage attendees to wear costumes that fit Steampunk, Swashbucklers, Heroes and Villain, or Monsters and Magic themes. And for the perfect costumed photo-op, the festival provides a throne room with elaborate hand-crafted thrones, ready for picture taking.
If just getting dressed up isn’t enough, you can be part of the action by participating in RenQuest, an interactive theatrical experience that allows you to become part of the story.
